Return of the Friday Five

Well, after that disappointment, I could sure use something to cleanse my mental palate. What say we try the Friday Five again, all right? No further intro — I’ll just get right to it.

Question #1: List five things you’d like to accomplish by the end of the year.

Finish my work videography projects, finish clearing the back yard, do a couple of household projects, finish the books I’ve started, and find Pam a Christmas present that’ll make her genuinely happy.

Question #2: List five people you’ve lost contact with that you’d like to hear from again.

Jeff Anthony, a friend from high school; Bill St. James, ditto; Chris Dunn, with whom I used to hang out in college; Mike Boyle, also from college, and with whom I’ve at least talked a few times; and Kenni Brown, my old college roommate. Who knows — maybe some of them are doing some “ego surfing” and will find this mention.

Question #3: List five things you’d like to learn how to do.

Fly an airplane, cook (beyond burgers and Bisquick pancakes), operate a motion picture (film) camera (and all the little details that go along with that), ride a motorcycle (I’ve got this obsession with the H-D V-ROD), and use CSS properly.

Question #4: List five things you’d do if you won the lottery (no limit).

Put money away for the girls’ schooling, buy a house with a built-in screening room, go to film school, buy all the cool gadgetry I wanted, and — duh — make a movie.

Question #5: List five things you do that help you relax.

Play with the girls, watch movies, get a massage, listen to music with no outside distractions, and drink a nice single-malt Scotch (of course, I do try to separate options one and five, there).
